Caroline Makes it 5 in a Row at Whilton FKS

Jamie Caroline and Eclipse Motor Sport are proving what they are made of , Caroline is on dominant form taking both the S1 and FKS title fights down to the last round as he has pulled the FKS championship gap back to just 19 points going into the last round at Ellough in two weeks.

Caroline won both days at the FKS round at Whilton Mill starting P3 both times and with two heat wins along the way. With Saturdays Pole man the ever impressive Alex Stott taking a 1st and a 2nd in his two heats . Unfortunately Stott was unable to improve on his pole position after a crash at the start but with the two top ten finishes under his belt it has moved him up the championship table .

The "Flying" Enaam , is turning heads at the moment Pole in time trials on Saturday and two sterling drivers through the field along with fastest laps he is proving to everyone what a talent he is in his second year of national competition, the podium is getting closer and closer now.

Oliver York had a torrid weekend but put in some fantastic driving to get into the main finals both days but suffered from kart issues all weekend . The team worked hard to get him by but a new kart is ordered and will be in use for round 5 of the Super 1 series this weekend at Rowrah which will hopefully put him back at front.

With a lot of the top runners having bad weekends it was Cameron Roberts chance to move into the top 10 in the points, but with an electrical problem in heat 2 and  DNS he had to come from 55th on the grid through the B final to finish 13th amazing drive as well as posting joint fastest lap, showing true determination from the youngster.

The man of the moment has to go to the youngest member and longest serving Cory Jay Coupe, who made his first A final appearance and was mixing it with the top runners. He finished 18th on day 1 a new personal best of the season. It was a big turning point for the Chesterfield driver and we will be seeing more improvements over next few races for sure.

The team will be at Rowrah this weekend hoping for more of the same .
