Eclipse Winning Form Returns at Genk

Jamie Caroline takes a win at Genk - August 2011

After some disappointing results of late, the winning ways returned in style at the Stars round in Genk with Jamie Caroline taking a win.

Day 1 - saw Jamie Caroline on the front row of the final with championship rival Daniel Ticktum. The race started on slicks but the rain came down making it a difficult race for the drivers. Caroline got fired off at bend 1 and drove back to finish 8th , Enaam was in 2nd when a driver took his nosecone off denying him off a certain podium , Cameron Roberts was up to 6th and then got hit off bending brake disc and Oliver York stormed through from 17th to take the last podium trophy spot in 6th.

Enaam Ahmed on  pole at Genk - August 2011

Day 2 - Enaam had a heat win and a second and put him on pole for final. He led the race but got bundled back early on in the race, but stayed in the lead group finishing 5th , Jamie went off grid 5 and picked his way past leaders to take a win and keep his championship hopes alive, Cameron Roberts had a 2nd and a 3rd in heats off grid 3 for final and got fired through chicane pulled back to 6th , while Oliver York started an excellent 4th on grid but got bundled out at start but a determined drive saw him come back from 17th to 6th only to be taken out again on last lap finishing 12th and claiming the joint fastest lap with Caroline.

All the drivers moving up massively in the championship as a result of their strong finishes and are looking strong for rest of year.
